*Donna News*

HOWDY!!!

Long time since I have been able (or allowed) to post.  I was happy to be able to crack the whip to Donna and get her to post personally.  We have been skyping randomly and catching her on gchat when possible.  Sometimes I can call her when skype isn't being a butthead, but other than that things are going well.  Its very exciting that we are about a year away from seeing her in person!!  This time next year, we should be almost ready to start our family trek to see DONNA!   Its been really funny that Donna keeps running into business people and accountants in the Peace Corps, she just can't get away from us!!  For those of you following the news about the conflict in the area, she is safe and is being watched.  Anytime that she even thinks about doing something opposite of the culture, she gets lectured by all those around her, which makes us very HAPPY!!

Well, I know you guys are really here to see what I have about Donna.  Well she sent us some pictures of her making pizza with some new friends she has made.  I hope you like them!!

The start of the night, my first pizza.

I have the funniest looking FACE!  This may have been after flour assault number 1. ....and I MAY have been the one that started the flour war.

We were arguing over who had the best pizza making technique.

This was one of the attempts at throwing the dough. What a big mouth I have!

And then I perfected the technique.

Julie kept insisting that she get pics of me covered in flour.

This was the result of the 1st attack from the French.

This was like 5 seconds before I launched an attack on the French.  You guys know this look.  He had just put me in the shower. That is why my shirt was wet.

Me with the FABULOUS furry hat, that still smelled like sheep! We are all going to get one of these hats and it'll be the Barda trademark.

It was an interesting night and I got to have some delicious pizza!  I ended up cutting my hand on the pizza slicer and didn't realize it later...when people had ate the whole pizza.  ....ummm... ooops. hehe They got some extra iron that night.

Well there you have it, she goes 14000 miles away to learn how to toss pizza dough!  Who would have thought that?

I am glad that she is having fun and making friends.  I still miss her dearly!

Enjoy and hope to post again soon!!
